Weapons Store
Kudos is earned whenever an assassin kills their target. If a player kills a target with great skill and elegance, and reports the story in great detail they will earn more kudos. Kudos can be exchanged here for items and abilities.
Once you purchase the item and crafted any required components you will be able to use the item instantly. Please be aware that if you purchase and use an item you don't have the Kudos for you will be penalised, and you kill might not count. If you are unsure how much Kudos you own you should ask the Umpire, although it is shown in the bottom corner of every writ.
Please note that each item is a seporate form which needs to be filled in individually.

What it does Buying ammo gives the assassin the ability to reload any gun and use it as a bang kill. E.g. If an assassin is armed with a water pistol it will be possible for them to use it as a bang kill if it is out of water. In any normal situation the water pistol would be rendered useless as it is considered out of ammo. (see rules on weapons) How to use it To use ammo you must tap the gun with your free hand and clearly shout "reload". This song and dance is basically to ensure that the target is aware you are reloading in order to prevent potential disputes. Once an assassin has used their ammo in such a manner (even if they do not successfully assassinate someone) their ammo is consumed and they will need to buy more in order to use it in future. Assassins can only own one lot of ammo at a time. Only once that ammo is used up can they purchase more ammo. The weapon can only be used as a bang kill for that one assassination attempt. |

What it does
Within normal game rules a player is allowed to wield a shield with a maximum diameter of around 12". With an enlarged shield you are able to use shield of any size as a means to defend yourself; this is provided it can be lifted and carried by that player alone with only one hand. How to use it A shield can also be worn anywhere on the body e.g. you could wear it as a chest plate provided it is still labelled as a "large shield". It must also be completely visible. e.g. you can't have it partly tucked under your shirt. A large shield simply labelled "shield" can become confusing and therefore even if you have purchased a large shield it will only count if it is labelled "large shield". A shield should obviously appear shield-like. The Umpire will not allow assassins to simply put a sticky note on any random object they come across e.g. a cat with a "large shield" label on it does not count as a shield. If a large shield is used to defend a player then the Umpire will roll his magical dice of power to see if it becomes damaged; the shield will have a 1 in 3 chance of becoming damaged. Once a shield is damaged it will only have one more use before it has to be discarded, or a new one purchased. The shield can be used to defend a player from attack multiple times in one instance, however if it is used in a seporate encounted the dice will come out again to test if it is damaged again. |

What it does Padlocks can be used to prevent players from entering an area. How to make a padlock A padlock should consist of a large padlock shaped piece of cardboard that is clearly visable to players. It should also be labelled "lock". How to use it To use a padlock you can simply place the lock (e.g. with bluetack) on the door/cupboard of your choosing. This will prevent any potential assassins from either entering through that door or poisoning the things in your cupboards. Padlocks only work on closed doors. If a door is left open then an intruder can still enter. This lock must not be used in a situation that can inconvenience surrounding civilians or overly inconvenience players. You cannot wait until a player is out and then put a lock on their front door. In any situation where a player unknowingly goes through a locked doors the player should simply be told to walk back through the doors and find another route. To remove a padlock a player must use a skeleton key. The only exceptions might be if a players has a personification ability such as super strength. Padlocks cannot be shot off. |

How to make a key A key should consist of a normal metal key (e.g. house key) with a sticky label saying "key" on it. Unlabelled keys won't count. How to use it To use the key you simply need to tap it against the lock. |
