Wanted List
To be considered a competent assassin you must make an assassination attempt at least once every 7 days. This attempt does not need to be successful, but assassins must show that they are making an effort (repeatedly sending poisoned letters will not count). Reporting as a witness can keep you off the list for a few extra days since it shows activity, but this will only wear so thin.
Failure to do this will put incompetent assassins on the Wanted List. Players full names will be added to the list and they can be targeted by anyone (either police or assassins) for the time they remain on the list.
To be removed from the Wanted List a assassin simply needs to actively attempt to assassinate their targets. Wanted assassins will still be at risk of attack until their name has been removed from the list, even if they have made an attempt in the mean time.
Any assassin not actively participating for several weeks may be removed from the game.
These rules are here to keep the game moving at a good pace. Placing players on the wanted list is completely up to the discretion of the Umpire.

Rule breaking
Players may be placed on the Wanted List at the discretion of the umpire for minor breaches of the rules, demonstrating a lack of 'fair play', or trying to use loop-holes to gain unfair advantages.
Assassins placed on the wanted list for this will be there for a set amount of time determined by the Umpire (usually a couple of days). Each time an assassin is placed on the list this duration will increase!
The wanted list is not the only form of punishment in the game. The Umpire likes nothing more than tormenting naught little assassins that break his rule with entertaining and ironic punishment. It is entirely up to the Umpire to decide how a player is punished for rule breaking based on each individual situation.
Serious rule breaking such as disruption of civilians, damage to property, aggressive behaviour, dangerous behaviour and law breaking will not be tolerated by The Umpire. In these cases it is likely that the offending assassins would be removed from the game.
